Darya Dadvar is an accomplished Iranian soprano now living in Paris. In addition to vocal and solo performance, her arrangements of traditional songs for voice and accompaniment blend contemporary elements with tradition style while preserving their Persian origins. 

Her captivating voice expresses colourful operatic qualities coupled with the complex rhythmic patterns of Iranian music. Her range both culturally and musically is further expanded through her use of different Iranian dialects – Azari, Kurdi, and Guilkaki. 

Through her performances, she not only invites us on a musical journey into Iran, but also, by mixing Persian, English and French songs, she creates a world where different cultures meet and are unified.
