After four folk/pop albums, MINOTAURS frontman Nathan Lawr made the transition from singer-songwriter to bandleader with 2010’s The Thing. Though the form has changed, the core remains: MINOTAURS is a folk band. But now MINOTAURS looks to the afrobeat’s rhythmic intensity and philosophical intention to get people dancing and thinking.
