Happy International Women’s Day! Appropriately, as we gear up to launch the 15th edition of our Asian Music Series, we’re delighted to announce our first show:Â The Haniya Aslam Trio on April 1st at the Small World Music Centre.
The Pakistani-Canadian singer, composer, musician and producer built a significant fan base and won international acclaim when she formed Pakistan’s first all-female band: Zeb and Haniya. Her performance last year with Mekaal Hasan rocked Lula Lounge and it’ll be a real treat for fans to experience her and her special guests in the intimate setting of the Centre.
