Small World Music presents another Fall festival highlight - a grooving, global dance party featuring Europe's DJ DUNKELBUNT and Toronto's DJ MEDICINEMAN spinning the hottest mix of Gypsy funk, dub reggae, jazz and more. Special performances by Toronto crew BEATMAP and belly dancing sensation THE FUNKABELLY ALL-STARS tear it up. For more information, please visit www.smallworldmusic.com.

Small World presents Electric Gypsyland, a global dance party dedicated to the infectious grooves of Gypsy funk, dub and electronica. Tapping into the world of the hottest Balkan club scene, the event features one of Europe's hippest fusionists, DJ Dunkelbunt. Making his Canadian debut, expert spin meister Dunkelbunt is also a gifted pianist and electronica producer. Dub reggae, klezmer, jazz, and breakbeat are among the many colours in his palette of sound.

Joining the Balkan beat bash is DJ MEDICINEMAN, Small World Music's resident ethnogrooveologist and one of the city's foremost global groove tastemakers. Host of the renowned global fusion and dubtronica show No Man's Land, you can hear him every Wednesday afternoon from 12-2 p.m. on CIUT 89.5 FM. Bellydancing sensations THE FUNKABELLY ALL-STARS will be on hand to shimmy and shake the dance floor to the sounds of Toronto band BEATMAP. The group will lend their signature world-groove pulse to lay a nuanced and powerful foundation for the dancers. Keyboard player and accordionist Neil Gardiner has spent many years working in Latin and African music and as a composer and freelance pianist in Toronto. Bassist Reza Moghaddas is well known both in Iran and Toronto as a player of rock and jazz, as well as a record producer and composer. Drummer / percussionist Alan Davis has performed in many world fusion settings across Canada and all of these artists pool their talents to lay down their bass-heavy, rhythmic vibe.
