This barrio blowout brings together: the pan-Latin house and funk grooves of Rebel Rhythm, led by keyboardist Amadeo Ventura (from Mambo Urbano) and also featuring the great Mario "Mayito" Del Monte on trumpet & percussion; the sensational Cuban rapper & poetess Telmary dropping rhymes over beats from Toronto's authority on Latin sound Billy Bryans; and the red-hot eclectic jazz-funk stew of Cuban trumpet maestro Alexis Baro. Topping it off are dance-floor burning selections from DJ eLman, host of "Dos Mundos Radio" on CIUT 89.5 FM which is quickly gaining a reputation as the finest Latin music show on the city's airwaves.
