On-stage musical director for the Jamaica to Toronto band, Jason Wilson is internationally respected for his groundbreaking fusion of roots reggae, jazz and folkloric influences of his beloved Scotland. The 2-CD "Peacemaker's Chauffer" is his first solo album, featuring iconic guests such as UB40 singer Ali Campbell, his late mentor Jackie Mittoo, Skatalites guitarist Ernest Ranglin, and saxman Pee Wee Ellis, two of Canada's finest modern songwriters Ron Sexsmith and David Francey, Aswad lead singer Brinsley Forde. Ellis and Forde will be the guests of honour for the "War" release, with Ranglin making a much-anticipated return for the "Peace" Friday Night festivities. Two remarkable nights of new reggae.
