Som Naimpally was an avid listener and supporter of Hindustani. What could be more fitting than to have a tabla solo by one of the top performers in India today. The highlight of the concert will feature Pandit Anindo Chatterjee and Hardeep Chana on harmonium lehra. Anindoji has been at the top of his field for several decades and is an inspiration to the younger generation. The evening will begin with a Hindustani raga performance played by Monsoon Trio, Jonathan Kay (Tenor & Soprano Sax, Bansuri), Andrew Kay (Alto Sax, Singing Bowls), Justin gray (bass veena) and Ravi Naimpally (tabla).
