in/future opening and forward

What a weekend we’ve had launching in/future at Ontario Place! Fantastic music, art and film in a remarkable setting, it’s already proven to a wonderful experience. Even a deluge on Saturday failed to dampen spirits, with uplifting music blowing away the clouds. From Japanese drumming to Latin hip hop and Afro futurism, all in a magical setting, it’s been a blast so far!

The Small World Stage, presented by Exodus Travels is the place to be this week and into the coming weekend, for an ongoing musical tour starting tonight. Indie-rock meets gospel with Bruce Peninsula, Zimbabwean sounds of Nhapitapi and funky Latin beats from Los eStereo Tipos combine for a fine Monday night. Tomorrow, we partner with Wavelength for a night of experimental electronics and rock and Wednesday, in association with Lula Lounge, we go Caribbean for a night of Latin and Calypso dancing.

We’re offering our valued newsletter readers 50% off for these great nights of music. Enter the code INFUTUREDAY when you’re buying your tickets and you can afford to bring a friend!

Between the stunning art installations and film experiences in the Cinesphere, there’s much to do at in/future addition to grooving! Check out the lineup as we move on to Thursday and the weekend with Brazilian, Ethiopian, old-school funk and so much more. See you by the lake!
