in/future Partners / Artists/ Volunteers

Aug 17, 2016

More exciting musical announcements for the in/future festival, coming up in (gasp!) less than a month. We’re delighted to have on board some of our BFFs as programming partners for the event.

Lula Lounge has developed a killer Caribbean night on Wednesday September 20th with Kobo Town, Yoser Rodriguez and more. The previous night, Wavelength stretches our boundaries with an experimental indie rock lineup that’s going to open some ears. Uma Nota and Batuki will also be on board, bringing Brazilian and African grooves to what’s looking like a pretty awesome program to our stage, presented by Exodus Travels.

Single day tickets are now on sale for in/future. In addition, we’re looking for volunteers to help make the festival great – if you’re interested in being part of this once-in-a-lifetime event, please look here for more info.

Speaking of Wavelength, this weekend marks their second Camp Wavelength – an immersion in the coolest sounds around in the beautiful setting of Hanlan’s Point on Toronto Island. Well worth a visit or a full-on sleepover!

Next week, we look forward to another partnership with Roy Thomson Hall for their Live on the Patio series. Two nights of Brazilian sounds bring Flavia Nasciemento and Aline Morales to the stage on Thursday and Friday.
