Desifest presented by TD #Unplugged

With the growing community of South Asian musicians across Canada, it is time to introduce a LIVE music night into the Toronto nightlife. desiFEST, Canada’s premier South Asian Urban music platform is all set to launch a brand new monthly showcase - the #Unplugged series, where they will be presenting a unique lineup of rising stars from within the South Asian music community.

Over the last few years, Canada has seen an increase in the number of independent South Asian artists. With a view to provide a unique platform for music aficionados in all major cities of Canada to showcase their immense talent and also for the ones who are looking to enjoy music. desiFEST has also partnered with Saavn to curate a monthly playlist that will be featured at each #Unplugged showcase.

“We are really excited with this new #Unplugged showcase. This will be a great way to discover new talent in the city and also to continue fostering an open network for local and international artists to build relationships amongst each other” says Sathish Bala, founder, desiFEST.
