Pan-Latin for Chilean Independence Day
Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, the Small World Music Festival is proud to partner with Art Spin to present in/future - a unique 11-day festival of arts and music from September 15 – 25 at Ontario Place. The Small World Stage, presented by Exodus Travels will host a lineup of the best contemporary sounds from around the world and around the corner. Full-day programs on the weekends and evening shows throughout the week will showcase artists that combine ancient and cutting-edge, while getting people up and dancing!
7:00PM Nano Stern
Called ‘the best Chilean songwriter of his generation’, Nano delivers with lyrics, melody, message, humour and heart. A superb guitarist and staggering vocalist, Nano’s extraordinary musicianship and a wide-open heart win over any crowd.
8:30PM Los Poetas
From Toronto and Vancouver by way of Chile, El Salvador and Argentina, this dynamic collective brings a Latino experience raised in Hip Hop culture. Speaking on the struggles and injustices that exist in their homeland, they preserve their Latin roots through beats and rhymes.

Blazing trails for 20 years with beat slamming recordings and outspoken politics

Compelling Balkan rhythms and soaring, wailing fiddle bring the crowd to their feet.
3:15PM Sina Bathaie
Taking Persian influences to new musical landscapes, Sina's sound revolves around his virtuosic performance on the hammered santur.

Sweet voices and rousing rhythms of Turkey and the Middle East
