Legendary keyboardist and funk pioneer, Wally is perhaps best known for the time spent with Talking Heads & Tom Tom Club along with British band Level 42, known for its blend of funk, pop and soul. He was one of the Compass Point All Stars (with Sly and Robbie), the in-house recording team responsible for recordings by Grace Jones, Jimmy Cliff and Gregory Isaacs.
