"A singular voice on the nylon-stringed guitar" - Internationally renowned composer, guitarist & pianist, Itamar’s music blends the delicateness of Middle Eastern music, the freedom found in jazz and the passion of flamenco, creating a unique sound all his own.

Itamar Erez (Canada/Israel) plays at the Small World Music Centre a couple days after performing at NYC's Carnegie Hall (Zankel) with the Omar Faruk Tekbilek Ensemble, and at the DROM (hosting John Hadfield and Or Bareket). Jessica Hana Deutsch (violin) and Flavia Nascimento (voice) join as special guests.

Itamar has released 2 CDs so far with the Adama Ensemble: "Desert Song" (2006) & "Hommage" (2010) and "New Dawn" (2013) with Yshai Afterman.

He has played at the Barbican Hall (London UK), the Sydney Opera (Sydney, Australia), the Jerusalem Jazz Festival (Israel), at the Oman Opera House, The Megaron (Athens, Greece), Schauspiel Leipzig (Germany), the Amsterdam Jewish Music Festival (Holland), the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, and more.
