So Long Seven is releasing their 2nd recording, "Kala Kalo" on CD and Vinyl. The recording features special guests Salif Sanou dit Lasso (kora, talking drum) and Demetri Petsalakis (oud). Traversing several genres including world, chamber jazz and folk roots, the new recording contains 11 tracks of original material. Wholenote magazine had this to say about the disc; "my bet is that you will feel a warm welcome in the imaginative musical world presented on this disc."
