NHAPITAPI: “Tawuya” Album Release Concert

With great pleasure and delight, NHAPITAPI announces the upcoming release of our debut full-length album titled "TAWUYA" (translated to English meaning, "we have arrived"). We invite you to join us for a magical night of music as we perform the album live in its entirety with the help of an amazing ensemble of Toronto-based guest musicians:

Kofi Ackah (the African Guitar Summit, Okavango African Orchestra, Afrafranto)
Tichaona Maredza (Okavango African Orchestra, the Tich Maredza Band)
Ruben “Beny” Esguerra (A New Tradition)
Bernie Pitters (The Human Rights, Toots & the Maytals, Bruce Cockburn) &
Eric Woolston (The Human Rights, Star Power Quartet)

Combined, this eclectic group of internationally recognized performers have received numerous musical awards including multiple nominees and winners of Canada’s foremost musical honour; the JUNO Award.

And to kick things off, we will also be joined by the best Zimbabwean DJ this side of the Atlantic, the sensational DJ Smoothie, spinning his musical magic from 7pm to 8pm.
