Three talented and up-and-coming Canadian female artists take the stage! Briga, Jessica Hana Deutsch and Tamar Ilana, accompanied by some of Canada's top musicians, showcase a combination of traditional and original music including Roma, Flamenco, Celtic, Balkan, Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jewish, bluegrass and more.

Montreal-based violinist Briga was the recipient of the 2013 Galaxie Rising Star Award and her album Turbo Folk Stories was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award as well as Québec's ADISQ awards. Local violinist Jessica Hana Deutsch leads her band Ozere, presenting original compositions equally inspired by chamber and folk music. Local singer Tamar Ilana's powerful vocals are accompanied by her band Ventanas, leading you through windows into other lands and cultures.

Together, these three bands bring you a night of passion and intensity, romance and joy. Come join us at Toronto's top world music venue, Lula Lounge, on Sunday March 30th.
