Pandit Anindo Chatterjee, one of India's foremost tabla masters will perform a tabla solo. Pandit Chatterjee has played with some of the biggest names in Hindustani music including Pandit Ravi Shankar, Pandit Nikhil Banerjee, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Ustad Vilayat Khan. As a soloist he is known for his vast knowledge of repertoire, blinding speed and flawless technique. The tabla solo will be accompanied by Toronto's own Hardeep Chana on harmonium. An opening set of traditional khayal will showcase local talent Samidha Joglekar accompanied by Hardeep Chana on harmonium and Ravi Naimpally on tabla.
