Panel on diversity with Ashkenaz in the Bellerive Room

Join us as we explore the relationship between Canadian musicians of Jewish and Iranian background who have built bridges between their respective communities through intercultural artistic collaboration. The Israeli-Iranian Musical Initiative is a unique collaboration aiming to transcend the diplomatic hostility that currently exists between the nations of Israel and Iran. This lively discussion between two members of the project, Parisa Sabet, and Noam Lemish,
and the Artistic Directors of both Ashkenaz, and the Aga Khan Museum, will spotlight how our Canadian context engenders paths to peace and understanding through creative musical collaboration, dialogue and celebration of shared values and traditions.
