Win Tickets to Goran Bregović | Globetrotter Anniversary Party

Happy March! We’re looking forward to Saturday’s soon-to-be sold-out Balkan extravaganza and are delighted to be part of such a success with our friends at Massey Hall. Goran Bregović and his Wedding & Funeral Band is going to be a blast and one pair of lucky newsletter readers can join us for FREE!

But you’ve got be creative and dance! Like Small World’s Facebook Page and post a short video on the Event Page of yourself or a friend dancing to the music of Goran Bregović for a chance to win a pair of tickets to see him Saturday. The video can be captured on your phone and be unedited – we are looking for enthusiasm over quality! You must post your creation by Friday at noon to be in the draw.

Globetrotter’s First Anniversary Party follows the Massey Hall show at Round in Kensington Market. It features one of the most adventurous global electronic producers in the scene, The Human Experience, along with local groove master Synapps and resident ethnomixologist DJ Medicineman bookend the dance floor festivities.

A cool combination just announced at the Small World Centre on the 25th brings our friends Zuze together with Nunavut-based throat singer Ivaluarjuk. Merging Iranian melodies and afrobeat rhythms with vocals from Rankin Inlet – should be some musical experience!

Watch Zuze perform “Alleycat Ska” at in/future – Small World Music Festival 2016.
