New Year's Eve is fast approaching, and we're planning on exploding into the new year with a motherfolking BANG!

We'll be ringing in the new year Balkan-klezmer-gypsy-party-punk-super-style at the infamous Opera House at Queen and Broadview. We're absolutely ecstatic to be bringing in KOLJADNYKY, a band of Carpathian Hutsul troubadours, all the way from Kryvorivne, Ukraine, to open for us and there will be another surprise group, but we won't say who! ** edit: ah heck yes we will! It's SAMBA ELEGUA!!!! **

For our first NYE party in Toronto, we're asking everyone to bring an old hat - something you don't wear anymore or just want to get rid of. In the spirit of starting fresh and building new friendships, at the stroke of midnight, we'll all exchange hats with a complete stranger! New year, new hat. You get the idea...
