With decades experience performing at festivals around the globe - 2008 Olympics in China, Peter Gabriel’s WOMAD, Midem – Cannes, All Star Guitar Night – Los Angeles, Montreal Jazz Festival, Pizza Express Jazz Club – London UK, International Guitar Festival of Great Britain, alongside international music sensations A.R. Rahman, Elton John, Ustad Zakir Hussein, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Marvin Hamlisch, Peter Murphy, and working with Barbra Streisand, Twyla Tharp, Diana Krall, Atom Egoyan, David Foster, Paul Anka, Gustavo Santaolalla, multi-instrumentalist performer / composer / music coordinator Levon Ichkhanian, recreates the rich multi-cultural experiences of his youth on stage with an evening of Performing Arts from the Mediterranean.

Under the Music Direction of Levon Ichkhanian, Mediterraneo comes an entertainment feast of French, Hispanic, Ladino, Arabic, Italian, Greek and Armenian music, dance, spoken word and images. Backed by a World Music Ensemble, Mediterraneo features performances by Mark Masri (performed with David Foster & Moscow’s Vivaldi Orchestra, collaborated with Olivia Newton John, Jon Secada & Jim Brickman), Maryem Tollar (JUNO winner, singer of the theme music for CBC Television’s Little Mosque on the Prairie), Carlo Coppola (Award winning singer-songwriter, including Top 10 San Remo Finalist), Esmeralda Enrique (4 time Dora Mavor award Winner for Outstanding Performance, founder of Academy of Spanish Dance & Esmeralda Spanish Dance Company), Aviva Chernick (Multi-lingual singer and 2 time JUNO nominee), Anastasia Arnokouros (Founding member of dynamic Greek orchestra, First Generation), Roula Said (One of Canada’s leading lights in the world of belly dance and director of Om Laila Studio), Tamara Bernier Evans (Veteran of Stratford Festival, Canadian Stage, best known as Tanya in Mamma Mia! On Broadway, Las Vegas and Toronto), along with Special Surprise Guests.
