Brazilian Singer and composer Carla Dias has taken Toronto by storm with all her talent. From Rio de Janeiro, Carla has created her first Toronto-based Bossa Nova group – "Aquarela do Brasil." In addition to several projects within Brazilian music and culture, Carla participated in the last Toronto Jazz Festival, and her band opens for Brazil's renowned group Casuarina.

Carla Dias Trio brings you traditional Forró music from the northeast of Brazil, accompanied by percussionist Mari Palhares and accordionist Patrick Albernaz.
