Recorded live at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, the remarkable music of Aditya Prakash takes his rigorous vocal training in Indian classical music to new worlds via a merging of raag and taal with jazz, funk and hip hop. While his planned Toronto appearance in 2020 never materialized, we’re fortunate to have this sublime performance, one of only two live recordings of their latest album release.
