So Long Seven (SL7) is an audible garden where you didn’t realize you needed to escape to until you are there surrounded by the flora and fauna that is, Neil Hendry –guitar, William Lamoureux – violin Ravi Naimpally - tabla, and Tim Posgate- banjo.
So Long Seven creates space for self-reflection and challenges the conventional ideas of the boundaries and parameters that music industry categories impose. SL7 teaches us about bridging cultures without appropriating, while rediscovering the joy of music.
Born and raised in Canada, Samidha is a versatile vocalist and has performed and recorded extensively contributing to many cross-cultural works. She has worked with many well known Canadian musicians including Harry Manx, Sundar Vishwanathan, Ravi Naimpally, Kevin Breit, George Koller and Waleed Abdulhamid. Her voice is featured in Deepa Mehta's film Midnight's Children with original music by U.K based musician, composer and producer Nitin Sawhney.
COVID Policy:
Vaccine QR code will be checked at the door. Masks will be required in hallways and common areas of the building. We thank you for working with us to keep our community as safe as possible!
