About the Artist:
A two-time Grammy nominee, Swapanji's musical journey began at the age of five under the guidance of his Guru, Pandit Santosh Krishna Biswas of Kolkata. Since then, his lifelong dedication to music has been a spontaneous expression of powerful emotions, showcasing his profound mastery of the tabla.

Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri is globally recognized as one of the most honoured tabla players in the realm of Indian classical music. His influence goes beyond Hindustani music, having collaborated with world-renowned musicians across diverse genres, including Stevie Wonder, L. Shankar, Mark O’Connor, John Handy, Larry Coryell, John Santos, and many others. Swapanji’s compositions and performances have transcended cultural boundaries, leaving a lasting impact on the global music scene.
