About Onsite Gallery:
Onsite Gallery at OCAD University stimulates art, design and digital media research, creation, exhibition and dialogue serving our wide-ranging public communities and the university. In conjunction with professional local, national and international artists, designers and curators, we promote engaged citizenship through the exploration of society, culture and aesthetics. Both within and outside the walls of the gallery, we develop and support innovative programming and curatorial practices that stimulate an exchange of ideas between our various constituencies. In all ways, Onsite Gallery champions excellence in culture. Onsite Gallery’s mandate supports developing programs, systems and policies that involve and converse with people of widely differing experiences. In preparation for the launch of Onsite Gallery’s new location at 199 Richmond St. W. in June 2017, our 2016 ONSITE/ programming imagines and creates what a public gallery can be.
