Inspired by the musical traditions of Greece, Iran, and India this Toronto based group performs original compositions to create contemporary music that captures the rich diverse culture of the city. From the poems of Rumi to the beautiful maqams and ragas these musicians explore the common ancestry that is found in the sound of their traditions and journey together towards a new common language. In the words of Rumi:
"Do you know what the music is saying? Come follow me and you will find the way. Your mistakes can also lead you to the Truth. When you ask, the answer will be given."
Setar: Pejman Zahedian
Percussion: Naghmeh Farahmand
Bass Veena: Justin Gray
