Doors Open Toronto is an annual event when approximately 120 buildings of architectural, historic, cultural, and social significance to the city of Toronto open their doors to the public for this free citywide event.

Small World Music is a celebration of cultural diversity expressed by one of the most potent tools available – music. A charitable organization, its vision is based on sharing cultural experience and ultimately, building bridges between cultures. It is about discovery and ‘opening ears.’ In this role, the company has presented close to 400 events since 1997.

In February 2014, Small World opened the doors to the Small World Music Centre at Toronto Artscape’s Youngplace facility. Located on Shaw Street near Queen West, it is an accessible community hub for global music and the people who play it and enjoy it.
