Estrella Morente, the superstar daughter of singer Enrique Morente and dancer Aurora Carbonell is making her Canadian debut at Massey Hall this winter. Since Morente began performing at the age of seven, she has held audiences spellbound with her yearning vocals and arresting stage presence. Counted among her legions of admirers is Pedro Almodóvar—the award-winning director selected Morente to be the singing voice for lead Penélope Cruz in his hit 2006 movie Volver.
