Indranil Mallick, student of Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, is a promising tabla player of rare skill, who has already established himself both as a soloist and accompanist. Sri Partha Bose is a widely acknowledged sitar player of the Maihar gharana whose hallmark of his music lies in the seamless integration of technical virtuosity and emotional expression at their highest levels. Together they will take the audience through a musical journey deeply rooted in North Indian Classical (Hindustani) music. The evening will commence with a tabla solo followed by a traditional duet between tabla and sitar.
