Eunice Keitan
By blending two genres that are rarely seen together, Eunice Keitan bridges the gap between Neo-Soul and traditional Chinese instrumentation. Through her performances, she reimagines the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese zither, in a contemporary context and brings a fresh perspective on neo-soul music. Her audiences can expect, as some have described this innovative sound, "a magnificent and unorthodox blend of groovy drums, Eastern strings, and honey vocals.

Eunice Keitan, a Malaysian-Chinese-Canadian artist uniquely bridges Neo-Soul with Southeast Asian instrumentation. As both a band leader and solo loop pedal artist, she reimagines these traditional soundscapes within a contemporary context, offering a fresh take on neo-soul. Her multiple homes, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, and Colombia inspire her rich sound, merging soulful melodies with a global twist. Audiences have described it as "a magnificent and unorthodox blend of groovy drums, Eastern strings, and honey vocals. Eunice's music often serves as a platform for insightful social commentary, where she navigates complex issues with both a gentle understanding and a powerful, unflinching perspective, revealing the subtle layers of societal challenges.
