Roy Thomson Hall presents
Rooted in the traditional music of his native Chile and inspired by that country’s legends Violeta Parra, Victor Jara and Inti-Illimani, Nano Stern has created a fusion of indie, folk, rock and jazz that is garnering him enthusiastic acclaim abroad. With a fifth album set for release in 2015 and a U.S. debut at SXSW in hand, the 28-year-old musician is one to watch.
Beat the heat in style at Toronto's newset patio!
Last summer, we launched a free summer music series on the patio at Roy Thomson Hall. This year, we’ve expanded both the patio and series so that you can now enjoy live music, food and drink two nights each week from June to September. We’ve invited a number of friends from the music community – including Lula Lounge, Classic Albums Live and the East Coast Music Association – to help us turn this downtown oasis into the liveliest patio in Toronto. We hope you’ll stop by! —Chris Lorway, Director of Programming & Marketing
