With her soothing voice, Marjan Farsad will take you through a dream to a far away land.
After 7 years, Marjan Farsad and her full band are back in Toronto to perform many of her classic favorites such as "Khooneye Ma" and "Porteghale Man" along with new releases. The concert includes animations created by Marjan.
Born in 1983 in Tehran, Iran, Marjan Farsad is singer/songwriter, animation filmmaker, and illustrator. She studied Graphic Design in Iran and Film Animation in Montreal, Canada. Marjan combines a unique blend of Indie-Pop with elements of Persian Folk music. Her debut record, Blue Flowers was a very successful record that produced two famous hits.
