He also studied singing Maestro Mohammad Reza Shajarian and improvisation and group performance with Maestro Majid Derakhshani.

With a Master’s degree in Iranian music from the Art University of Tehran, his international performing career has seen him perform with a range of the world’s top musicians including grandmasters Mohamadreza Shajarian and Sima Bina, and with groups such as Mah-Banoo, Khorshid, Mah, Shams, Mawlana Ensemble, the Netherlands Symphonic Orchestra and more. He’s appeared on dozens of recordings by artists including Morghe Khoshkhan, Rendane Mast, and Gole Sib; and was a finalist for the 2019 Aga Khan Music Awards.
