There are thunderstorms in the forecast for this
Saturday June 1st, and we can assure you that it will be raining heavy Afro, Latin, funk, and Caribbean goodness; as Ottawa’s Juno-nominated and world-renowned Souljazz Orchestra makes its only appearance in
Toronto this summer at The Garrison, 1197 Dundas St. Doors are at 10 pm.

Souljazz Orchestra released their most recent full-length album Solidarity to widespread acclaim in late 2013. One of Canada’s
musically prolific bands of the past decade, SJO has been hard at work woodshedding new grooves that they can’t wait to share with their passionate and knowledgeable Toronto fans. Behind the decks will be General Eclectic, one of the few DJs in the Toronto or anywhere else capable of matching SJO for stylistic diversity and pure, raw funkiness.
