Tocani is a multidisciplinary project that explores pre-Hispanic elements and Contemporary urban realities of Latin America. Using percussion as the backbone, Tocani creates an atmosphere where the Ancestral mysticism and everyday urban life are the main characters on stage.

Drums, wind instruments, guttural sounds, urban sounds, and other percussive instruments are some of the main components in the musical part. Contemporary dance and costumes with a syncretic iconography between the ancestral and the modern world, are some of the elements that make up the scenographic design as musicians and ephemeral characters interact throughout each piece.
