Fethi Nadjem developed his skills on the oud at the Fine Arts Association in Algiers, learning Andalusian music, and playing violin and mandole. He was one of the founders of Djmawi Africa, a fusion band that performed around the world. Soon after arriving in Toronto, he began playing with several bands and musicians, including Moskitto Bar and Moneka Arabic Jazz, quickly establishing himself as a key addition to the city’s music scene.
