Legendary Indian classical artist and Grammy Award-winning world music performer Pandit V.M. Bhatt mesmerizes audiences with delicate yet fiery music. A disciple of Ravi Shankar, Bhatt is the inventor of the “Mohan Veena,” his assimilation of Hawaiian guitar with sitar techniques. With blinding speed and faultless legato, Bhatt is undoubtedly one of the greatest slide players in the world.

Bhatt will present a program of Hindustani classical music with Pandit Subhen Chatterjee, a senior tabla player from the Lucknow gharana tradition.
