Saturday marks this season’s last Globetrotter event and it’s looking like a great way to slide into summer! This night of Tropical Bass, will shake the dance floor with the return of Toronto-born, Brooklyn based Uproot Andy. Specialists in Latin vibes; DJ Linterna and Ontario Bananas of Dos Mundos fame join Resident Globetrotter, medicineman for what promises to be a high-energy dance party in Kensington at the Round. ¡Festejamos!
Ticket giveaway time! As mentioned last week, Small World is a proud partner on the New Canadian Global Music Orchestra project – 12 world class musicians coming together in an act of meaningful co-creation to represent the state of Canadian music today. We have a pair of tickets for their first public performance Friday at Koerner Hall – the first respondent to jess@smallworldmusic.com who can name one member of the ensemble will get a pair for this special event!
