The 18th Annual Small World Music Festival – Toronto, September 19 – 29

For its 18th year, Small World’s signature program returns to Toronto stages, ushering autumn in with a captivatingly diverse mix of sounds new and old. Legendary Chinese rock band Hanggai returns, as does Tinariwen, rising stars of South Asian strings Rhitom Sarkar and Rakae Jamil, an experimental music night, a day of free global sounds, and the anticipated Toronto debuts of NAMU’s fusion of Korean sounds and Brazil’s “most innovative band” Teto Preto.  As always, we delight in sharing this range of experiences that represent ‘The Beat of the Globe in the Heart of Toronto’!
