Balkan brass meets Latin funk in festival ending blowout!

Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, the Small World Music Festival is proud to partner with Art Spin to present in/future - a unique 11-day festival of arts and music from September 15 – 25 at Ontario Place. The Small World Stage, presented by Exodus Travels will host a lineup of the best contemporary sounds from around the world and around the corner. Full-day programs on the weekends and evening shows throughout the week will showcase artists that combine ancient and cutting-edge, while getting people up and dancing!

8:30PM Gypsy Kumbia Orchestra
A potent mix of Afro-Colombian percussion with a Balkan Brass section, choreographies, dance, circus and audience interaction that has been taking over dancefloors throughout the world. Audiences are invited to live an explosive and liberating dancing experience.



7:00PM M.A.K.U Soundsystem
Take a group of musicians largely hailing from Colombia living in Queens and mix them into an active quest for identity through sound and bodies in motion, and puts on a party for everyday people.



5:45PM Minotaurs
The slinky backbone of afrobeat infuses indie-rock-folk with propulsive rhythms - catchy, inspiring, and seriously funky.



4:30PM Fojeba with the Sunshine Band
Afropop guitarist, singer-songwriter and band leader, Fojeba's rep includes Makossa, Zouk, Ngwa and more from his native Cameroon.



2:00PM Autorickshaw Trio
Virtuosic Indian rhythm and voice meets jazz cool
