Inner Journey 1 featuring Soley Ensemble is part of sacred music series of Rumi Canada is back by demand was a sold out show at the Aga Khan Museum in March of 2017; a selection Persian Qawwali-style Sufi music, sacred whirling dervish dance and the poetry of Rumi, Attar and more! Presented in Persian and English. Soley Vaseghi with his 50+ years of music performance experience will take us through a memorable sacred Persian music. He will be accompanied by some of the top Persian music talent residing in Canada such as: Koroush Babaei – kamancheh; Ali Razmi – Setar
Sardar Mohamadjani – oud; Bamdad Fotouhi – tombak, percussion; Zohreh Shahbazy – daf; they will be accompanied by Tanya & Farzad on sacred whirling sufi dance.
