We’re pleased to announce that Single Day Tickets for the in/future festival are now on sale. In addition to the festival passes (a HUGE deal!) you can now pick your preferred day at the advance price! It also gives us a chance for another ‘talent teaser’, releasing the names of four more fine musical acts gracing our stage.
The first Saturday, September 17th will feature Asiko Afrobeat Ensemble as part of a full day of rousing music. Briga bring their Balkan ‘Turbo Folk’ from Montreal on the following day. Bruno Capinan will be part of a Brazil-themed Friday and reggae troubadours The Human Rights are part of an amazing lineup on the closing weekend.
We’re also happy to announce the support of Exodus Travels for our stage. Look for some great contests during the festival and you can win a chance to travel!
This weekend, our friends at Batuki Music and Harbourfront Centre present their Habari Africa festival with a compelling program of sounds. It includes Ethipian Azmari music Saturday evening that’s well worth a visit.
Speaking of Bruno Capinan and degrees of separation, today he’s playing a little festival you may have heard of… he’s performing at the Olympics – fantástico!
